We're Here For You
As Pittsburgh's only country station committed to live and local, we bring you an airstaff of true Yinzers that know the area as well as you do. While many of our competitors may pretend to live in the Steel City, the difference is that we actually do. Who wants to bet some of them can't even pronounce "Allegheny?"
When it comes to Pittsburgh, this country girl bleeds Black and Gold. (She has one of the original terrible towels to prove it!) Michelle grew up in Moon, (Go Tigers!) where she was lulled to sleep with the sounds of jets taking off and landing. A former Y108 morning show personality and midday host in the late 90’s, Michelle traded in her microphone to raise a family. Now she’s back doing what she loves in the hope of making the people of the Steel City proud. She’s a longtime friend of animal shelters, hospice, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and other charities. She loves the idea of natural living and clean eating, if it weren’t for those dastardly Reese’s Cups! Her favorite pastimes are cooking, baking, crocheting, reading and watching her kids play soccer.
Listen Sundays 10am-3pm on Parkway 106.
A lifelong Pittsburgher and current Beaver County resident, Klipper has been with Parkway 106 since the very start, hosting one of our first live air shifts. He's been a Garth Brooks superfan ever since he heard the first note of "The Dance" and can proudly boast having been to more country concerts than there are bridges inside the city limits...or close to that, at least. You can hear Klipper across our airwaves (or really...your phone's speaker) each and every weekend, so whatever your weekend adventures call for, you'll have someone to keep you company.
Listen Sundays 3-7pm on Parkway 106.
Born in Natrona Heights and currently residing in Leechburg, Lash's roots go "Deeper Than the Holler" and his love for country music...well, that's just "Family Tradition." Coming from a true working-class family, his ancestors worked in our steel mills, coal mines, and on the farms...so the country lifestyle is in his DNA. DJ Lash is a small town family man who loves to get "Down On the Farm" on Saturday night. He has his two kids, Alexa (affectionately known on-air as "DJ Lex") and Austin, that keep him on his feet at all times. Aside from spinning the tunes over our internet airwaves, you'll find him and bars, weddings, community functions...virtually ANYWHERE spinning the tunes as part of his DJ business.
Listen Saturdays 8pm-Midnight on Parkway 106.
